Welcome to the Lake Travis Chamber of Commerce web site.
Having completed a very successful 2011, we are very excited about the outlook going forward in 2012 and welcome all of our members along for the ride into the next phase of our community and Chamber’s continued growth.
The Lake Travis Community has been blessed with unparalleled economic growth when compared with the national scene and from all indications; we will continue that with the addition of numerous businesses and services including the long awaited Lakeway Regional Medical Center due to open this Spring.
Our school district continues it’s direction achieving not only the rating of “Exemplary” but also with the success of their athletic programs: LTHS Cavaliers Football setting a record with their 5th Straight State Championship, LTHS Cavalier Girl’s Volleyball winning their 2nd Straight State Title with a record 50 straight wins and the LTHS Tennis achieving 2nd place in Team competition while numerous other athletic and UIL programs continue to perform in the top tiers of competition. The strength of our school district is one of the most important factors in the growth of our community and if we can get the lake back up to it’s proper level, well, that says it all.
Our Chamber membership level continues to grow and has reached the highest levels achieved to date thanks to the support of its current members, dedication of its member volunteers and highly qualified staff.
We are striving to provide a valuable experience with membership by providing quality programs with timely information and addition of member benefits. Our luncheon speaker programs have improved with content and value and our annual events are getting bigger and better each year from the second to none SpringFest to the Golf Tournament and the Annual Awards Banquet.
By joining your Chamber and combining forces with other businesses in your community you are taking the first step towards reaping the rewards you seek to grow your business but we invite and urge each of you to get involved and participate actively in your chamber whenever and however you can. By doing so, the benefits and returns realized will be much more fruitful for you and your desired goals. Help us help you and let’s grow together; it is hard to fail with Teamwork in place.
